Job description:
- Liaise with FICCI, CII, ASSOCHAM, IESA etc and statutory bodies like pollution control board, labour ministry etc
- Monitor the regulatory and political landscape for threats and opportunities to company's business and communicate this intelligence to business leaders and functional colleagues (including provision of up-to-date, clearly written analysis of such developments, showing the impact on the business, working out scenarios and recommending appropriate action)
- Track and participate in the policy formulation of the upcoming policies
- Provide strategic guidance and consultation for new corporate programs, events and other experiences
- Design and implement recommendations for strategic approach, policies, budget and creative direction of new events methods to transform the digital experience of company events
- Manage communications and promotional materials for special events
- Develop approach and methods to evaluate and measure event success. Leverage insights in the development of an annual strategy
- Influence and negotiate with internal partners as needed in the best interests
- Produce detailed proposals for events, eg timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets
- Coordinate staffing requirements and staff briefings
- Liaise with marketing and PR colleagues to promote and manage the event
- Perform post-event evaluation; including data entry and analysis, and produce reports for event stakeholders
