Roles & Responsibilities
- Java 8 and above
- Spring boot or Spring MVC
- Angular Js/ Front End Experience
- Hands on experience on AWS
- Writing Unit and Integration tests
- Docker
- Build tools like Gradle/Maven
- SQL and NoSQL datastores (MongoDB and ElasticSearch are good to have)
- Any popular CI/CD system (Jenkins and Spinnaker are good to have)
- Monitoring and logging tools like Datadog/Kibana/Splunk
Apart from these, if the candidate has experience in the following, then it is good to have:
- Java version upgrades
- Spring version upgrades
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and EKS.
- Ability to trace an HTTP request across multiple systems (like a load balancer, pod, container)
- Optimizing SQL/NoSQL queries or Java code for performance
- Kafka or RabbitMq
- Analyzing reports to save costs on AWS and then working on AWS infrastructure to do so.
- Debugging exceptions and errors that occur in the logs and fixing them.
- Writing Spark jobs
