Job Summary:
As a Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) at Hotel Udichi Regency, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Chef de Partie in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes. You will be responsible for ensuring that the kitchen operations run smoothly, maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation:
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in accordance with our established recipes and standards.
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and taste.
- Kitchen Operations:
- Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and maintained.
- Quality Control:
- Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management.
- Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and of high quality.
- Assist in the development and testing of new recipes.
- Compliance:
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food hygiene and sanitation practices.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other members of the kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Provide guidance and training to junior kitchen staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in culinary arts or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
