Hiring Cook / Demi Chef de Partie (DCDPfor Hotel Udichi Regency

Hotel Udichi Regency is a prestigious establishment located in the serene town of Santiniketan, Bolpur, West Bengal. We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) to join our dynamic culinary team.

Job Summary:

As a Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) at Hotel Udichi Regency, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Chef de Partie in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes. You will be responsible for ensuring that the kitchen operations run smoothly, maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Food Preparation:
  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in accordance with our established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and taste.
  1. Kitchen Operations:
  • Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and maintained.
  1. Quality Control:
  • Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management.
  • Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and of high quality.
  • Assist in the development and testing of new recipes.
  1. Compliance:
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food hygiene and sanitation practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures.
  1. Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other members of the kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior kitchen staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in culinary arts or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
