Job Summary:The Cook & Operations Coordinator will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes while also managing various administrative tasks, including running errands for shop registration, GST documentation, ingredient procurement, and handling sales and marketing efforts. This versatile role requires a blend of culinary skills and operational efficiency to ensure smooth business operations and growth.
- Cooking and Food Preparation:
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet high standards.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
- Manage inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients, ensuring freshness and proper storage.
Handle errands related to shop registration, GST documentation, and other regulatory requirements.
- Submit and track necessary paperwork for business compliance.
Coordinate with government offices and agencies as needed.
- 3. Ingredient Procurement:
Source and purchase ingredients and supplies from local vendors or suppliers.- Negotiate prices and manage relationships with suppliers.
Track inventory levels and place orders to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to promote the business.
- Manage social media accounts, create promotional materials, and engage with potential customers.
Analyze market trends and customer feedback to adjust marketing strategies and improve sales.
Provide excellent customer service, address inquiries, and handle customer complaints or feedback.- Engage with customers to understand their preferences and tailor offerings accordingly.
Assist with daily business operations, including scheduling, staff coordination, and general administrative support.- Monitor and maintain health and safety standards within the kitchen and overall business premises.
Experience:
Previous experience in cooking and food preparation is required. Experience in administrative tasks and sales is preferred.Skills:
Proficient in cooking techniques and food safety practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Basic knowledge of business regulations, shop registration, and GST processes.
Education: Culinary diploma or relevant experience in food preparation. Additional coursework or experience in business administration or marketing is a plus.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy ingredients or equipment.- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing various tasks simultaneously.
