Conversation Experience Designer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative Conversation Experience Designer to design and optimize conversational interfaces for our virtual assistants. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting user-centered dialogue flows and interactions that enhance the overall conversational experience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including customers and developers to deliver seamless, engaging, and intuitive conversational experiences for users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and refine conversational flows, intents, and dialogue structures for chatbots and virtual assistants.
  • Craft natural, engaging, and contextually appropriate user experiences that enhance interaction with AI-powered assistants.
  • Collaborate with developers to integrate conversation design with underlying technologies and ensure proper functionality.
  • Define the tone, language style, and personality of virtual assistants to ensure brand consistency and user engagement.
  • Develop and maintain conversation design documentation, including scripts, dialogue trees, and user journey maps.
  • Monitor live conversations to identify areas for improvement, continuously iterating on design based on feedback and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align the conversational experience with business objectives and user needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in conversation design, UX writing, or voice interface design.
  • Familiarity with conversational AI platforms.
  • Excellent writing skills, with an ability to craft engaging, concise, and context-aware dialogue.
  • Experience in user research, usability testing, and data-driven design improvements.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
