Your primary responsibility will be to design, and implement motion planning and control
algorithms in several robotics products. You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of mobile robotics
projects, from conceptualization and design to deployment and maintenance.
Role Overview
The incumbent shall be part of the autonomy team and will be responsible for upgrading the
existing products and developing new products of the company.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the development of algorithms for path planning and control for
Mobile robots.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the requirements and
specifications for robotic systems based on project goals and objectives.
- You will be responsible for testing and verification of the implemented algorithms for
reliability and performance.
- Further development of the simulation framework and tools for performing SIL simulations
- Documentation of the algorithms and test results.
- Support in testing activities and deployment of mobile robots at customer sites
Key Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelors/Master's degree in the field of Computer Science, Electrical, Mechatronics or
related fields
- Prefer 1-4 years of work experience in the similar field
- Knowledge in the fields of linear and nonlinear control
- Experience in the field of mathematical modelling, path planning and control of mobile
robots
- Practical experience with one or more sensors/actuators such as IMU, laser scanner,
optical flow sensor and motor drivers
- Strong software development skills in Modern C++ and/ or Python
- Prior experience developing in Linux operating system is preferred
- Experience with the development of embedded boards is desirable.
- Ability to communicate ideas and problems clearly and efficiently.
- Ability to reliably plan and estimate the development time requirements.
- Eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work in teams with collaboration.
