Job Location : Chennai.
Responsibilities :
You will be responsible for overseeing a team of buyers with varying degrees of Oil & Gas procurement experience, with the ability to mentor less experience staff from a technical and commercial perspective.
Analyse full technical tenders and develop commercial Bill of Materials (BOMs) to enable procurement specialists to issue Requests for Quotes (RFQs).
- Leading the drilling and wells procurement process and supply chain management for the project, to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of wells with the highest standards of safety, environmental protection and in full compliance with all company and international standards, local and international legislation.
- Conducting contract negotiations and preparing contractual documentation and awards in accordance with company procedures.
- Pre-evaluation of qualified suppliers and vendor evaluation.
- Accountable for development and approval of Bid-Lists and purchase orders up to certain limit of authority. Responsible for development of procurement strategies.
- Interface with buyers and suppliers to ensure complete and accurate submittals are received and evaluated in order to meet client deadlines. Ensure awards of Contracts and Purchase Orders are in compliance with customer specification.
