Work Overview:

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore(Hybrid) or Remotely. The role involves migrating the data source of a critical component of the delivery ecosystem from AWS RDS to DynamoDB. This includes integrating with DynamoDB and migrating existing flows. The current tech stack includes MySQL, Spring, Java, Hibernate, Kafka, AWS Lambda, and JUnit + Jupiter for testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop production-grade REST APIs using Java and the Spring Framework.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Create comprehensive unit, integration, and service level tests to ensure application reliability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner.
• Work independently on tasks end to end and deliver on time.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.

Preferred Skills:

• 2-5 years of experience in developing production-grade applications.
• Proficient in Java programming language with experience in Spring, ThreadPools, and Async Processing.
• Working understanding of Golang.
• Basic understanding of AWS DynamoDB and its integration with Java applications.
• Basic understanding of Apache Kafka.
• Efficient developer with the ability to produce fast and robust code.
• Proactive in communicating gaps, issues, and concerns in a timely manner.
• Eager to learn and improve continuously.

Brownie Points:

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
• Familiarity with Hibernate.
