Monitoring & driving sourcing strategy of Phase-1B Project in all mechanical, Electrical & Ancillary packages towards expansion upto 6 MTPA Integrated steel plant in Angul. Finalization of Operation & Maintenance contract of major plants like Coke Oven, Sinter Plant, Blast Furnace, HT Sub-station etc.
Review & rationalization of BOQ/Scope pertaining to Coke Oven, Sinter Plant, Blast Furnace & plant piping construction packages. Scrutinize, evaluate, and approve specifications, Preparation of Free-issue material.
Preparation and Floating of enquiry/ RFQ/ RFI / Tender document.
Rate analysis to establish effective negotiation, Utilize Sourcing Process to drive cost savings & negotiate with vendors for best total cost within stringent quality & firm deadline.
Arrangement of pre-bid meeting / closeout meeting / purchase committee meeting to ensure timely completion of bidding process.
Preparation of LOI & initiating expeditious project commencement, Monitor milestones against project plan, Dispute resolution against project contractual terms.
Preparation & issuance of work orders to qualified agencies.
Manage needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders in multiple roles across the organization.
Assessment of new & prospective vendors for cost optimization & quality improvisation.
Ensure adherence to all systems, processes, statutory compliance as required by the organization.
Contract Closure processing & extra claim settlement.
