Overview:
The Contact Administrator Associate is responsible for the data input and database administration of on-boarding contracts within the MSSC Transition Services staff. This position participates in all aspects of the transition phases for on-boarding projects. Establishes access to customer systems, sets up monitoring, tests alarming, and builds database records for maintenance and managed services. The position requires a working knowledge of Avaya and Nortel products, system and data technologies, Alert database and MSSC practices and procedures.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
2 years of experience working in external customer facing environment for support.
2 years of experience using an automated ticketing system.
Must possess strong computer skills and excellent working knowledge of general business applications, including MS Word and Excel.
Must possess excellent written communication skills in English
Highly skilled in writing with details, accuracy and consistency
Strong analytical , interpersonal, and relationship building skills
Strong work ethic and personal drive to excel
Strong sense of urgency and commitment to get the job done
Ability to use (and learn new) complex systems, technologies, and applications
Ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Telecom/Network hardware or softwareResponsibilities:
Builds and ensures accuracy of Alert and customer portal records
Keeps detailed records of the Transition Projects in Transition Project Ticket and utilizes Transition Project Checklist to ensure all tasks have been performed
Accesses systems to setup monitoring, tests alarms, verify health of the system, and participates in the day to day on-boarding process
