Role Overview:
As a Content Strategist, you will play a crucial role in understanding client requirements and effectively communicating them to our internal team. You will conduct research, develop strategies, and ensure alignment between client expectations and internal execution. Your focus will be more on the business aspects of content strategy rather than the purely creative side.
Role & Responsibilities:
Understand and analyze client requirements and business objectives, translating these needs into actionable plans for the internal team.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and target audience preferences, using these insights to develop content strategies that align with business goals and enhance customer engagement.
Create detailed content plans and timelines to ensure timely delivery, overseeing the creation, curation, and management of content across various platforms.
Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the internal creative teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication of client expectations and project updates.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive project execution, ensuring all content aligns with the brand voice, style, and messaging guidelines.
Monitor and analyze content performance, making data-driven adjustments as needed to improve content strategies and achieve business goals.
Develop and present pitches to clients, showcasing content strategies and plans, utilizing excellent presentation and communication skills to convey strategies to both clients and internal teams.
Handle complex situations with ease, providing strategic solutions and creating amazing strategies for different brands within the e-commerce space, while staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Candidate Requirements:
Min 4-5 years of experience in doing business research and content strategy
Good understanding of e-commerce and digital marketing landscape.
Strong business acumen with an ability to understand and prioritize client needs.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Experience in developing and presenting pitches to clients.
Ability to conduct thorough research and translate findings into actionable strategies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Experience:
7-10 years of experience as a Content Strategist or in a similar role, preferably in the e-commerce industry.
