Job Description

Job Title: Content Manager (D2C Brand)

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Content Manager with 3-5 years of experience in Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brands, preferably with an agency background. As a Content and Campaign Planner, you will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies and campaign plans to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of D2C marketing, excellent writing skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful content and campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive content strategies aligned with the brand's goals and target audience. Conduct research on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitive landscape to inform content planning.
  • Campaign Planning and Execution: Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and offline. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define campaign objectives, target audience, messaging, and creative assets.
  • Content Creation: Write engaging and persuasive copy for various marketing materials, including website content, blog posts, social media posts, email campaigns, product descriptions, and advertisements. Ensure all content is aligned with brand guidelines and tonality.
  • Editorial Calendar Management: Develop and manage an editorial calendar to ensure consistent content production and distribution. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, content creators, and freelancers to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality content.
  • SEO Optimization: Conduct keyword research and integrate SEO best practices into content planning and creation. Optimize content for search engines and user experience, ensuring maximum visibility and engagement.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and analyze campaign performance, content engagement, and other relevant metrics. Generate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of content and campaigns and provide insights for optimization.
  • Collaboration with Agencies and Freelancers: Work with external agencies, freelancers, and content creators to develop high-quality content and leverage their expertise in content creation and distribution.
  • Brand Messaging and Consistency: Ensure brand messaging and tonality consistency across all content and campaigns. Maintain brand guidelines and provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders on brand voice and identity.
  • Market Research and Consumer Insights: Stay updated with industry trends, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies in the D2C space. Conduct market research and analyze consumer insights to inform content and campaign strategies.
  • Budget Management: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaign budgets and track expenses. Ensure campaigns are delivered within budget constraints and optimize spending for maximum ROI.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in content and campaign planning, preferably in D2C brands with an agency background.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Understanding of D2C marketing principles and consumer behavior in the digital landscape.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword research.
  • Experience in managing editorial calendars and coordinating content creation across multiple channels.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and social media management tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
