Responsibilities
- Edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, coherence, grammar, punctuation, and style, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and standards.
- Collaborate with writers, designers, and other stakeholders to refine content and ensure consistency in messaging and tone.
- Conduct thorough research to verify facts, enhance credibility, and support content development.
- Optimize content for SEO to improve visibility and drive organic traffic.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance content quality and effectiveness.
- Manage content calendars and deadlines to ensure timely delivery and publication.
- Monitor content performance and user engagement metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to writers to help them improve their skills and deliver high-quality content.
- Assist in developing and implementing content strategies to support business objectives and enhance brand awareness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in content editing, preferably in a SAAS or technology-focused industry.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a strong command of the English language.
- Proficiency in SaaS editorial standards
- Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high editorial standards while meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and creating engaging content.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and publishing platforms.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with graphic design or multimedia content creation is a plus.
