Job Title: Content Creator / Social Media Specialist

Overview

The Content Creator is responsible for producing high-quality, engaging content across multiple platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth. This role requires creativity, strong storytelling skills, and a solid understanding of digital and social media trends. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and has a knack for creating visually and verbally appealing content that aligns with the brand's voice and goals.

Key Responsibilities

Content Development

  • Create various types of content, including blog posts, social media updates, videos, infographics, and email campaigns.
  • Plan and execute content that is relevant, consistent, and aligned with brand messaging across all digital platforms.
  • Optimize content with SEO best practices to increase search engine visibility and engagement.

Social Media Management

  • Develop content strategies for social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Engage with audiences by posting, responding to comments, and tracking key metrics to drive social media growth.
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers or brand partners to amplify reach and engagement

Audience Research and Engagement

  • Research and understand target audience preferences and behaviors to inform content creation.
  • Conduct audience surveys or polls, and monitor feedback to create content that resonates.
  • Track and report on content performance, analyzing data to continuously improve and adapt content strategies.

Collaboration and Coordination

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product teams, to create cohesive, brand-aligned content.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, and other creatives to produce high-quality visual content.
  • Coordinate content calendar and schedules, ensuring timely delivery and consistency across all platforms.

Content Innovation and Trend Analysis

  • Stay updated on industry trends, social media updates, and content best practices.
  • Experiment with new content formats, styles, and technologies to keep the brand's content fresh and engaging.
  • Generate ideas for new content themes, series, or formats to engage and grow the audience.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in content creation, social media management, or a similar role.
  • Proven portfolio of diverse content types, including written, visual, and video content.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, social media, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and video editing software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for storytelling and design.

Skills and Competencies
  • Creativity and an eye for detail.
  • Ability to produce engaging, brand-consistent content across various digital platforms.
