Inviting applications for the role of Consultant - Windows Server Administrator
Genpact is hiring Windows Server Administrator who must create, maintain, and troubleshoot windows server issues.
. They would help to build & decommission servers.
. They would help to monitor, test and resolve server-related queries to their client or company.
. They provide support for IT infrastructure services on all hosted windows operating system flavours from Windows server 2003 to Windows server 2022.
. Engineers work proactively within a team on requests created in ticketing tools.
Responsibilities
. Installation & Configuration of Server OS
. Server Decommissions
. Install/remove/configure features on the server
. Monitor server health
. Cluster configuration
. Troubleshoot CPU, Disk space, RDP, server connectivity issues etc
. Server access management
. Apply security/hardware updates on the server.
. Vulnerability remediation
. Troubleshoot patching issues
. Troubleshoot server connectivity issues from vcenter, ILOs.
. Handling tickets - Incidents/Tasks/Change management requests
. Resolving tickets within SLAs
. Document key issues/root cause
. Work with users across different locations on various issues
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
. Bachelor%27s degree in computer science or related field.
. Windows OS - Win2003/Win 2008/Win2012 R2/Win2016/Win2019/Win2022
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
. Server Hardware - Dell/HP/Cisco UCS, VMware vSphere
. Deployment Tools - WSUS, SCCM
. Automation - Powershell
. Ticketing Tools - ServiceNow
. Basic understanding of Windows Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
. Good communication skills
. Outstanding troubleshooting skills
. Outcomes Oriented - Successfully manage a set of responsibilities until its completion
. Team Player with a capability to work successfully with various personalities
. Work well under pressure
. Operate self-sufficiently
