Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Consultant Specialist with a strong background in historian systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various historian platforms and possess advanced technical expertise in implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting. This role requires close collaboration with clients to assess and meet technical requirements, and engagement with the Business Development team to support project scoping and resourcing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Historian System Implementation: Lead and execute the implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting of historian systems, such as Aveva PI, Honeywell PHD, Siemens SIMATIC Process Historian, or other similar platforms.
- Interface Management: Manage, implement, and troubleshoot a range of interfaces including OPC DA, OPC UA, PLC, Modbus, RDBMS, Kafka, and MQTT to ensure seamless data integration and communication across systems.
- System Design & GxP Documentation: Independently develop and design historian systems, including the creation and maintenance of GxP-compliant documentation to ensure systems meet regulatory standards and client expectations.
- Technical Estimations & Configurations: Provide detailed resource estimations, technical configurations, and cost inputs to the Business Development team for inclusion in client quotations.
- Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with clients to understand, align on, and implement their technical requirements, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Business Development Support: Partner with the Business Development team to assess project feasibility, define project scope, and identify potential resource requirements for upcoming projects.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in historian consultancy with expertise in Aveva PI, Honeywell PHD, Siemens SIMATIC Process Historian, or similar historian platforms.
- Proficient in configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting a variety of interfaces, including but not limited to OPC DA, OPC UA, PLC, Modbus, RDBMS, Kafka, and MQTT.
- Proven track record of successfully executing projects with historian systems across various client engagements.
- Capable of independently designing historian systems and creating GxP-compliant documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a client-focused approach to consulting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business development teams.
