Our services include providing Hot Rolled and/or Bright Steel Bar & Wire in Mild, Carbon Alloy, and Stainless Steel Grades. We also offer Pickling, Phosphate & Spheroidize Annealing of Steel Wire Rod Coils. As a mercantile agent, we collaborate with leading steel mills to provide Structural Steel, Plates, Sheet Metal, and Coils.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role as a Consultant at P. SOOD & CO. The Consultant will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks related to Tools, Alloy & Special Steels. The role is based in Chennai, with the flexibility for remote work.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Tools, Alloy & Special Steels
- Expertise in stock management and distribution
- Familiarity with industry standards (BIS, SAE, AISI, DIN, JIS)
- Experience in Pickling, Phosphate & Spheroidize Annealing of Steel Wire Rod Coils
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience in the steel industry is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
