Aspect Ratio is rapidly expanding in the space of Analytics & Data Science and we're looking for experienced candidates to be part of our team. The position requires you to be comfortable working with large datasets and in-depth understanding of machine learning algorithms.
Qualification: 4-year Engineering degree. An MBA or any specialized coursework in Data Science is a plus.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with large datasets using SQL and designing machine learning solutions using Python/R.
- Work experience in Pharma/Healthcare is mandatory.
- Experience in advanced machine learning algorithms is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Patient level data sets (Claims, EMR, etc.) will be advantageous.
Skills required:
- Expertise in Data Science algorithms - in-depth understanding of the math behind the algorithm
- Expertise in Python or R, SQL, SageMaker, Databricks, PySpark
- Excellent storyboarding skills to present findings to C-Suite executives
- Familiarity with various data science algorithms including regression, random forest, XGBoost, time series, and simulation.
- Understanding and experience in applying less widely used algorithms such as PU learning, one-class SVM, association mining, and Prophet time series model.
Responsibilities of the individual include:
- Effectively lead a team of analysts to meet a client's analytical requirements.
- Structure an ambiguous business problem and devise a mathematical and/or programming solution.
- Execute the solution in the best possible tool or platform.
- Dive deep into data, analyze and discover patterns/root causes.
- Design robust and scalable prediction algorithms
Areas of delivery for the team include:
- Connect with clients to understand their Data Science needs.
- Use transaction-level datasets to answer business questions.
- Create PowerPoint presentations to communicate findings & recommendations to senior leadership teams.
- Build predictive models to drive business decisions.
- Present results to clients and get buy-in
