Job Description

As a Data Collection and Analysis Specialist, you will be responsible for gathering data and information on specific topics or areas using a variety of channels and tools, including direct discussions, surveys, observations, and online research. You will leverage your expertise in data collection tools such as Qualtrics, Customer Voice, and internal applications to efficiently gather information from diverse sources. Additionally, you will analyze the collected data and provide comprehensive reports with relevant observations and recommendations to support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Gathering:
  • Utilize tools such as Qualtrics and Customer Voice to create and administer surveys for data collection.
  • Conduct direct discussions with stakeholders to gather insights and perspectives on the topic.
  • Perform observational research to gather firsthand information and observations.
  • Collect data from client documents, financial disclosures, and reputable online sources such as WSJ, NYT, etc.
  • Data Synthesis and Analysis:
  • Analyze the collected data to identify key trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Synthesize information from multiple sources to develop a comprehensive understanding of the topic.
  • Use analytical tools and applications to interpret data and extract meaningful insights.
  • Report Writing and Presentation:
  • Prepare concise and cohesive reports summarizing the findings, observations, and recommendations.
  • Present the research findings to stakeholders in a clear and comprehensible manner.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting.
  • Flexibility to work on shifts

Skills

Knowledge, Skillset, and Abilities Needed:

Proficiency in data collection tools such as Qualtrics, Customer Voice, etc.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Ability to quickly gather and synthesize information from diverse sources.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.

Familiarity with internal applications and external website sources for data collection.

Experience in creating surveys and conducting direct discussions with stakeholders.

Knowledge of research methodologies and techniques.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
