Join our Enterprise AI platform team at AstraZeneca as an AI Platform Engineer. You will play a crucial role in supporting our data scientists, analysts, and engineers by ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of our Dataiku environment. As a strong software developer interested in building complex systems, you will be responsible for inventing how we use technology, machine learning, and data to enable AstraZeneca's productivity. You will help design, build, deploy, and develop our next generation of data engines and tools at scale.
Your key responsibilities will include collaborating closely with data science teams to design, deploy and manage the Kubernetes and AWS-based AI platform for Machine Learning. You will provide the necessary infrastructure and platform to support the deployment and monitoring of ML solutions in production, optimising solutions for performance and scalability. You will also administer and maintain the Dataiku platform, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Platform Engineer, or similar role.
Strong proficiency with Dataiku platform administration, configuration, and optimization.
Experience designing and implementing data pipelines, workflows, and integrations.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Certification in Dataiku or AWS or relevant technologies.
Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for deploying and managing Dataiku environments.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
