we are looking for a Consolidation Specialist who is playing a key role in the month end closing, as well as the quarterly worldwide consolidation and analysis for the group year-end financial statements. The selected candidate will report to a Group Consolidation Manager.
The ideal candidate is therefore a dynamic team player committed to work independently, collaboratively on a team, and with various stakeholders including outsourced audit teams located in different locations.
Main responsibilities and accountabilities:
She/he will:
- Ensure the accuracy of the Actuals reporting packages delivered by our entities: analysis of a part of the balance sheet, income statement and/or cash flow
- Evaluate, recommend and implement action plans to improve the efficiency and effectiveness according to Group IFRS accounting rules
- Provide support in the preparation of the quarterly earnings release, biannual and annual reports such as 6K/20F for US filing & CSSF reports for European filing
- Assist and support the Company's with the various cross functional departments (mainly compliance, controlling, treasury, tax, investor relations, M&A)
- Provide support towards our group external auditors, with the preparation of necessary internal Sox supports,
- Contribute to lead internal finance projects, as appropriate
Skills and requirements:
- Accounting degree and/or certification required (Masters with accounting concentration, i.e.: ACCA or equivalent)
- 5-7 years of experience of accounting experience with a strong understanding of IFRS
- SAP working knowledge is a plus (SAP Financial Consolidation or any other consolidation tool)
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Analytical skills: ability to identify and resolve issues
- Ability to meet deadlines and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Languages: English (native/fluent), any other language is an advantage
