The Role
As a Senior Python Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and efficient solutions to support our video packaging and monetization platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI and Computer Vision technologies for effective management and analysis of video data
You Will Be Responsible For
- Designing and developing scalable backend services and APIs using Python to support video packaging and monetization functionalities.
- Collaborating with the product management and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
- Implementing AI and Computer Vision algorithms and techniques to enhance video data management, analysis, and processing capabilities.
- Optimizing and maintaining existing codebase to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Conducting code reviews, identifying areas for improvement, and mentoring junior developers.
- Staying updated on the latest advancements in Python, AI, and Computer Vision technologies, and proactively introduce innovative solutions to enhance our platform.
Ideal Profile
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- You possess at least 6 years of experience as a Python Developer, with a strong focus on backend development.
- You have a solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- You have experience working with AI and computer vision technologies, particularly in the context of video data processing and analysis.
- You are proficient in relevant libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, OpenCV, and Py-Torch.
- You have strong knowledge of web technologies (e.g., RESTful APIs, JSON, HTTP) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud platform).
- You are driven, detail-oriented and have an excellent problem-solving approach
- You have strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
