We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating computer systems, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly, and monitoring system performance.
Responsibilities
- Operate computer hardware systems, including mainframe computers, servers, and personal computers
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as necessary
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on hardware and software systems
- Maintain accurate records of system performance and maintenance tasks
- Assist with the installation and configuration of new hardware and software systems
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure smooth system operations
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 0-1 years of experience in computer operations or a related field
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software systems
- Experience with operating systems such as Windows and Linux
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills to collaborate with other IT professionals
- Ability to work independently and within a team
