CAD Designer (Jewelry) - Matrix
Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative CAD Designer with expertise in Matrix software to join our jewelry design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Matrix's capabilities and a passion for creating stunning jewelry pieces. You will be responsible for transforming design concepts into detailed 3D models that accurately represent the final product.
Responsibilities
- Design Concept Visualization: Collaborate with designers to understand their creative vision and translate it into accurate 3D models using Matrix CAD software.
- Model Creation: Develop detailed 3D models of jewelry pieces, including intricate details like gemstones, settings, and finishes, utilizing Matrix's advanced features.
- Technical Drawings: Create technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing, ensuring accuracy and clarity within the Matrix environment.
- Renderings: Generate high-quality renderings of jewelry designs to showcase their appearance and materials using Matrix's rendering tools.
- Modifications: Make necessary adjustments to designs based on feedback from designers, engineers, or clients within the Matrix software.
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest Matrix software features and jewelry design trends.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CAD Designer in the jewelry industry, specifically using Matrix software
- In-depth knowledge of Matrix's capabilities, including modeling, rendering, and technical drawing features
- Strong understanding of jewelry design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A portfolio of previous CAD designs created in Matrix is a plus
