Job Title: Component Engineer
Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)
Manager Note:
- Demonstrated broad technical competence in multiple technologies (FAN, HEATSINK) - Must-Have
- Must have a Bachelor's degree - Electrical Engineering
- Must come from a mechanical background
- Thermal interphase knowledge is a Must
- Position has potential to extend beyond a year and convert to FTE
- Candidate needs to be onsite in bangalore office 3 to 5 days a week as required
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline (BSEE, BSME)
- 4+ years progressive and proven experience in component engineering in the computer networking industry, including Quality and Reliability.
- Demonstrated broad technical competence in multiple technologies (FAN, HEATSINK, ANALOG IC) with expert level experience in one or more area is required.
- Proven knowledge of failure mechanisms in semiconductor and system level component interaction and assemblies over a wide range of technologies.
- Demonstrated technical and operational problem solving and solution implementation skills in complex, highly interactive environment with a proactive attitude.
- Working knowledge of industry best practices for component and product level qualification and design verification testing (DVT practices, HALT, HASS, etc.).
- Experience in partnering with multiple industry leading EMS and OEM/ODM providers.
