The Position
The Opportunity
As Roche DIA Pune Compliance Lead you will oversee the comprehensive compliance program for Roche Dia Pune site. You will report to the DIA RIS Compliance Lead with a dotted line to the DIA Pune Site Head. This will foster a deep and timely understanding of all activities and a proactive and effective co-creation of compliant and sustainable solutions.
In this role-
- You will be responsible for architecting, managing and overseeing the governance and strategic framework for compliance and business sustainability, to support the organization and ensure sustainable growth.
- You will effectively foster and further strengthen a culture of integrity, drive compliance risk and opportunity management and state of the art compliance programs, foster continuous improvement of the compliance and business sustainability processes, supporting the organization with an effective and proactive business oriented approach
Main tasks of the position
- Designing and implementing the compliance strategy and initiatives in Roche Dia Pune site, based on the Group and Divisional compliance priorities as well as decisions of the Core Compliance Team
- Accountability to set the strategic direction and roadmap for compliance for the Roche Dia Pune site, engaging a multitude of stakeholders (local/regional/global) and working cross-functionally.
- Closely cooperating with the compliance team supporting the RDS/RIS organization, to ensure alignment and strategy implementation.
- Serving as a Subject Matter Expert to the Roche Dia Pune site, driving and actively contributing from compliance perspective to any local initiatives.
- Key enabler of sustainable business operations by providing highest quality compliance advice that includes the identification, management and improvement of key compliance risks across Roche Dia Pune site to support risk management and compliance assurance.
- Coaching and catalyzing the Roche Dia Pune organization to co-create value with and for all its key stakeholders and support the culture of integrity. Enabling a learning environment and keeping the customers at the center of activities
- Leading compliance investigations in the Roche Dia Pune site
- Contributing to good relationships with regulatory/industry bodies, raising the standards for ethical business, promoting regulatory convergence, and increasing digital health readiness.
- Identifying and following national and international political decision-making processes to safeguard the interests of Roche
- Providing advice to and participating in governance bodies of Roche Dia Pune site.
- Supporting and providing input to the representative of Roche in the local Trade Association, including in other industry and similar associations
- Accountable for the compliance education of Roche Dia Pune site employees
Who You are:
Education:
- University Degree (or MBA or other relevant Post Graduate qualification), preferably in the Compliance, Legal, Finance, Economics, Business, Administration, Audit area
Professional experience/duration:
- Experience (min. 6 years) in Audit, Compliance, Risk, Assurance or Governance, ideally with international and team leadership experiences
- Strong knowledge of relevant international compliance policies and regulations, especially in the area of digital healthcare, solid understanding of the diagnostics, medtech and healthcare industry, intercultural understanding and experience in change management, strong skills in Project Management
