Job Description

Position Overview:

The Compliance Executive will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with

various labor and statutory regulations, with a focus on ESIC (Employee State Insurance

Corporation), PF (Provident Fund), and other relevant Acts. The ideal candidate should have

strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of

compliance processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Create ESIC and UAN (Universal Account Number) for workers onboarded on the

platform.

2. File monthly ESIC and PF returns accurately and within the specified deadlines.

3. Perform reconciliation of ESIC and PF returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.

4. Address worker queries and resolve issues related to ESIC and PF benefits.

5. Manage compliance and filings pertaining to various Acts such as S&E (Shops and

Establishments) Act, LWF (Labor Welfare Fund), and other state and central Acts.

6. Stay updated with changes in labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance in

all relevant areas.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Payout, On-boarding and

Finance, to ensure compliance-related processes are followed consistently.

8. Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external audits.

9. Maintain proper records and documentation related to compliance activities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) with a minimum of 1

year of relevant experience.

Drop-outs from professional courses such as CA (Chartered Accountant), CS

(Company Secretary), or CMA (Cost and Management Accountant) after

completion of Articleship for IPCC (Integrated Professional Competence Course)

or Executive Exam will also be considered.

Proficient in using Microsoft Excel with moderate knowledge of advanced functions

and formulas.

Strong understanding of labor laws, ESIC, PF, and other statutory regulations.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of data accurately.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills to address worker queries effectively.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

2+ years of experience in handling payroll and compliance.
