The Waters India Global Capability Center (GCC) is in a newly built facility in Bengaluru's RMZ Ecoworld technology park, a WELL and LEED Platinum-certified campus that exemplifies a commitment to a healthy and eco-conscious workspace. The Waters India GCC is an integrated extension of our global team, serving as a center of excellence across areas such as software engineering, technology, and product development.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Compensation, the
Compensation Analyst will support the Compensation Team to drive programs that attract, reward, and retain talent and support Waters business objectives. This analytical role requires understanding of basic compensation principles including salary structure maintenance, integration and standardization of jobs in a complex environment, global evaluation of jobs, employee analysis, and support of enterprise-wide projects such as annual compensation planning.
Responsibilities
- Conduct job evaluations and provide salary recommendations ensuring internal equity and market alignment of total compensation
- Perform various research and analyses to determine market competitiveness of compensation programs or to ensure compliance with current legal regulations
- Participate in annual compensation planning administration including base pay, merit, incentive, and equity
- Participate in annual market analysis process: prepare survey submissions, respond to vendor audits, maintain survey database, conduct job matching validation, maintain job code and associated data
- Participate in special analytic projects which may include: review of competitive pay practices, economic trends, market position, cost impact, system enhancements, etc.
- Partner with HR Business Partner/Advisor on various employee/job reviews to determine compensation best practices
- Participate in other Total Rewards projects and initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or HR related field or commensurate experience
- Minimum two years experience in compensation
- CCP course work preferred
- Knowledge of compensation best practices
- Intermediate analytical, problem solving, and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel
- Knowledge of SAP/SuccessFactors preferred
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well with global cross-functional groups
