Job Description:
Community Engagement & Support Manager - Microsoft Edge for Education
We are seeking a Community Engagement & Support Manager with 4-8 years of experience to drive impactful customer relationships and foster community growth for Microsoft Edge in the education sector. This role involves managing premium support channels, engaging with key educators and IT admins, and advocating for Microsoft Edge across educational forums and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with school districts, educators, IT admins, and influencers in the Edge in Education community.
- Customer Support: Manage Microsoft Education premium support for Edge in Education customers, resolving queries and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Content Creation & Evangelism: Create high-quality presentations and materials for the education audience, and evangelize Microsoft Edge at internal and external forums related to EdTech.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with Microsoft field teams to pitch Edge to education customers and help drive product adoption.
- Data Management & Reporting: Use Excel to manage dashboards, track metrics, and provide insights to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Feedback Management: Engage with users via social media, Teams, and other forums, gather product feedback, and ensure action is taken.
- Research & Outreach: Identify top educational websites, apps, and ISVs for potential partnerships and ensure Edge compatibility.
Requirements
- Experience: 4+ years in community management, customer success, or similar roles.
- Skills: Advanced community building, expert customer service, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data management, reporting).
- Additional Skills: Excellent data mining, web research, and influencing skills. Passion for education and EdTech preferred
