About the Role:
As the Community Manager at our learning centre, you embody the essence of operational excellence and warm hospitality. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that the centre operates seamlessly, prioritising the safety, satisfaction, and engagement of our students and their parents. Through your meticulous attention to detail and your passion for creating a welcoming environment, you will play a key role in supporting the centre's growth
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory and Procurement Management:
- Oversee the centre and classroom inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are stocked and procured efficiently to support an uninterrupted learning experience.
Center Flow and Safety:
- Manage the implementation and adherence to safety protocols, including ID card tracking and distribution. Enforce designated zones for parents and children, ensuring a safe and organised environment.
Housekeeping Oversight:
- Ensure the centre maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, overseeing housekeeping efforts to create a pristine learning environment.
Student Attendance:
- Supervise the accurate marking of student attendance and in identifying reasons for absence, playing a critical role in tracking and supporting student engagement.
Parent Acquisition and Engagement:
- Assist in new parent acquisitions by providing centre tours, facilitating Parent-Teacher Meetings, and highlighting the value of our educational offerings to prospective parents.
Relationship Building:
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing parents, engaging in learning-focused conversations that reinforce their commitment to our centre.
Creating a Hospitable Environment:
- Champion the creation and maintenance of a hospitable, warm, and inclusive centre environment, ensuring that all visitors and members of our community feel welcomed and valued.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: A minimum of one year's experience in a role focused on hospitality, customer service, or centre management, preferably within the education sector.
- Operational Excellence: Demonstrated ability to manage operational tasks efficiently, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills, capable of building strong relationships and conveying the centre's values and expectations clearly to all stakeholders.
- Leadership: Ability to lead by example, fostering a culture of respect, safety, and community within the centre.
- Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively with the centre team, contributing to a cohesive and supportive work environment.
