Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Community Manager to join our team at IDEASHACKS Coworking. As a Community Manager, you will be the face of our community, responsible for creating a welcoming and supportive environment for our members. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our coworking space, fostering member engagement, and promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Member Engagement:

  • Welcome new members, conduct onboarding sessions, and provide tours of the space.
  • Foster a sense of community by organizing events, workshops, and networking opportunities.
  • Act as the main point of contact for members, addressing their needs, concerns, and feedback.

Community Building:

  • Develop and implement strategies to build a strong, supportive community culture.
  • Create opportunities for members to connect, collaborate, and share knowledge.
  • Manage and grow online community platforms and social media presence.

Event Planning and Execution:

  • Plan and execute community events, workshops, and networking activities.
  • Collaborate with local businesses and organizations to host events that add value to the community.
  • Monitor event budgets and ensure successful event outcomes.

Customer Service:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all members and visitors.
  • Resolve member issues and complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the coworking space.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in community management, customer service, or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for building and nurturing a vibrant community.
  • Proficiency in using social media and online community platforms.
  • Event planning and marketing experience is a plus.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with grace and professionalism.
