About Us:

Power Foundation of India (PFI) is a think tank and a policy advocacy organisation in the Power Sector. It is a society registered under the aegis of the Ministry of Power, Government of India. It is supported by twelve leading power sector organisations.

The Power Foundation of India conducts independent, evidence-based research on issues and challenges pertaining to the power sector to uncover valuable insights and solutions. Our studies encompass diverse aspects related to the generation, transmission, distribution, trading of electricity, energy transition, renewable and environment sustainability.

The Foundation also designs and implements consumer campaigns and outreach programs on relevant themes related to the Power sector. Through these campaigns and outreach efforts, the organization is dedicated to enhancing consumer knowledge and engagement in the power sector, contributing to a more environmentally friendly and economically responsible energy landscape.

Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Communications Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent grammar and punctuation skills, and the ability to enhance the clarity and coherence of written content. The Communication Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring that all communication materials i.e electronic and print meet our Foundation's standards of quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

The suitable candidate must demonstrate strong content development skills using creativity and imagination

  • Managing social media of the Foundation day-to-day management, content creation, and user engagement
  • Coordinate with communication agencies/vendors for the execution of campaigns
  • Website content management
  • Help organize workshops/meetings/stakeholders meetings, including event management and conferences
  • Tracking information on the power sector and preparing newsletters/research reports/ press briefs/papers on issues of power
  • Coordinating inter-departmental and administrative activities
  • Any other assignment that may be assigned

Skill Set:

  • Working knowledge of Power and allied sectors
  • Excellent communication (written & oral) skills
  • Technology savvy (Leveraging technology in the field of communication)
  • Excellent team skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to gel and work in a cross-functional environment

Experience:

  • 4-6 years of work experience in a PR/Advertising/Digital Marketing Agency or a communications department in a corporate or social organization.
  • Execution of Digital and Social Media campaigns
  • Experience in managing integrated media campaigns, content creation, and reporting
  • Experience in creating and developing both short-form and long-form content
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of tools such as Canva, WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, video editing skills, AI tools will be an added advantage

Qualifications:

Post Graduate degree / Diploma in PR/Journalism/ Mass Communication or related field from a recognized accredited Indian or International University.
