- Effectively author regulatory compliant SDS/Labels for external customers for US, EU, CA and other countries.
- Search various reference sources and supplier SDS for required information and apply techniques to reconcile discrepancies in the sources.
- Perform evaluations according to toxicological, environmental, chemical and physical properties for the determination of hazards of substances and chemical products.
- Perform quality control and regulatory compliance reviews of SDS/Labels prepared by others team members.
- Assist in establishing the details of the SDS/Labels content to be delivered contractually.
- Provide related services such as regulatory training, performing compliance reviews, writing procedures and providing consultation services.
Required Education:
- Experience and Education required in one or more of the following areas:
- University degree in Science (Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Environment, Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene) or Chemical Engineering. Masters preferred.
Knowledge of at least two of the following:
- REACH, GHS, OSHA, WHMIS, IATA, IMDG, ADR, ADNR, TDG, DOT
Required Experience:
- Work experience from 1 to 5 years, or more.
- Experience in sciences: Biology/Chemistry applications, Health/Safety/ Environmental regulations and/or toxicology
- Experience in product stewardship or regulatory affairs
- Experiences as a user of EH&S related software
- Consulting experience
