Job Description

Position :Commodity Sales & MarketingManager

Reporting to :Lead - Commodity Sales

Location : Vanod, District Surendra Nagar, Gujarat

Qualification :Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field Relevant certifications in sales or commodity trading are a plus.

Experience:5+ years in sales and marketing roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity in Metal or allied industry. Experience of regionally specific metal sales and customer interactions.

Job Profile :The Key Account Manager - Commodity Sales is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with major clients in the metal commodity sector. The role aims to drive revenue growth by delivering tailored solutions and exceptional service to key accounts. The KAM will leverage deep industry knowledge and strategic insights to align our company's commodity offerings with the clients needs, optimize contract terms, and ensure long-term partnership success. lResponsible for figuring out inventory levels, getting production data from plants, and making sure auction quantities are correct.

lAdapting inventory management techniques as needed to increase sales and control stock levels.

lAssessing, choosing, and making management-level recommendations for new vendors.

lCreate sale orders based on approved auctions that have been approved in ERP(Infor) (new buyers added, buyers activated, item codes activated, etc.).

lEnsure that all reporting is entered into the systems and update the product plant in BI.

lVerify the collection of debit/credit notes, and work with a customer relations executive to follow up with customers.

lDiscuss lifting issues, BI issues, ERP issues, dead item disposals, and other issues with plant heads and coordinators.

lNegotiating favorable prices and terms of purchase to maximize best commodity sourcing practices.

lSending documents to CMR LLC for payment and following up with accounts to update in the system after receiving payment.

Functional Skills:

lTechnical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and commodity trading platforms.
