Commissioning Engineer

Job Purpose - Pre Commissioning and Commissioning of 2G Distillery Plant.

Experience - 5-8 yrs

Educational Qualifications - BE / Diploma Chemical

Key Responsibilities - 1. To carry out all assigned pre commissioning and commissioning activities as per schedule and to follow SOP and industrial safety practices. To carry out operation of demo plant as per guidelines given.

2. To prepare and complete Documentation related to Pre commissioning and commissioning. (Log Sheets, PGR Data, JPC).

3. Training to Client operation team. To demonstrate successful plant performance to meet contractual requirement and successful handing over of plant to client.

Other Responsibilities - 1. To maintain Good relationship with Plant Operational staff/Client Staff, Customer and vendors.

2. Support to Erection engineer during installation of equipment, piping, Instrumentation. Conduct pre-commissioning audits.

3. Trouble shooting during start up and commissioning.

4. To co-ordinate with package suppliers & to support them during commissioning.

Technical Competencies - 1. Experience of Plant Operations, Pre Commissioning and Commissioning of Plant

2. Able to understand Chemical Plant Processes, P&IDs, function of different equipment, Packages

3. Troubleshooting and investigating problems, diagnosing/repairing faults and corrective actions.

Knowledge and Skills - 1. Knowldege of Plant Operations, Pre Commissioning and Commissioning of Plant.

2. Need the ability to cope with shift work and extra hours, which are often required where plant is in continuous operation.

3. Good Inter Personal Skills within team and with Client staff.

4. Preparation of daily report. Ensure safety during plant operation.
