Energy, Siemens Limited India is looking for a seasoned Finance Professional to lead Finance function for one of the businesses in Siemens Energy.The candidate should have the potential or a proven track record of running a great business while continuously adapting to the changing context in which we operate. The fast-paced changes include the changing buying behavior of our customers to change in market demand from renewable integration & industrial segment to broad changes in macro trends - e.g, commodity prices, demand volatility. Covid related disruptions are now business as usual.

This role will demand strategic and financial inputs and actions, together with the Business Head, Function Heads to create a highly flexible, economically competitive organization as well as the right go to market strategies while managing risks to create sustainable profitable growth.This will of course also demand strengthening of the entire team through regular upskilling and changes to drive meaningful initiatives and actions.This position provides unique opportunity to grow the conventional business as well as build a strategy around the emerging business opportunities.

Job Profile:

. Responsible for Commissioning of turbo-compressors (Integrally geared, single shaft compressors) and instrument & controls work related to turbo-compressor package at customer sites.
. Plan and coordinate on site supervision of commissioning jobs and service jobs like control upgrades, I&C work during Major/Minor inspection/overhauling of compressors, troubleshooting etc.
. Liaise with projects, engineering and other departments as required to obtain a full technical and commercial briefing prior to travelling to site.
. Carry out pre-commissioning & commissioning supervision activities and the field service activitiesto bring the package into service and obtain customer acceptance.
. Implement approved design changes that may be required to bring the product up to specification.

. Should have hands-on experience on Siemens PLCs (S7/1500/PCS7), Rockwell Automation (Allen Bradly PLCs) programming and system commissioning, vibration monitoring systems from Bentle Nevada/Metrix etc., Field instrumentation like pressure, flow, temperature transmitters, vibration probes/proximitors/transmitters etc.
. Document problems encountered, and design changes carried out whilst at site, for presentation at formal de-brief meetings.
. Maintain a full log of pre-commissioning & commissioning activities and record any customer delays during service job and erection activities, complete a concise report.
. Ensure compliance with Company EHSpolicy/customer EHS policy during all the activities

Desired Qualification & Experience:
. Degree/Diploma in Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical Engineering
. Minimum 3-4 years of work experience as a Commissioning Engineer or Instrument & Control Engineer
. Willingness to travel to customer sites including onshore & offshore installations for longer duration.
. Verbal and written communication skills in English
. Positive attitude towards learning & contribution to business success
. Strong customer orientation
