Job Summary:As a Commis Chef 2, you will play a key role in our kitchen team, assisting with food preparation and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. This position requires a solid understanding of cooking techniques and familiarity with both Continental and Indian cuisine. You will be expected to contribute to creating exceptional dishes and growing your skills in a dynamic kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:-
Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes according to the recipes and standards set by the Chef. Ensure consistent quality and presentation of dishes, with a focus on both Continental and Indian cuisine.

Cooking: Cook and assemble dishes to order, maintaining high standards of taste and appearance.

Station Management: Manage and maintain your designated station, ensuring that all mise en place is ready and organized.

Cleanliness: Adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards. Keep your station and the kitchen area clean and organized.

Inventory: Monitor and manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies. Report any shortages or issues to the Sous Chef or Head Chef.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service. Assist and support your colleagues as needed.

Learning and Development: Continuously develop your culinary skills and knowledge, particularly in Continental and Indian cuisine. Seek feedback and actively participate in training sessions.

Health & Safety: Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Handle all equipment and tools safely and responsibly.
Qualifications:-
Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or a relevant culinary qualification is preferred.

Skills: Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques. Proficiency in preparing dishes from Continental and Indian cuisines.

Attributes: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as required.
Working Conditions:-
