Job Title: Kitchen Commis Chef (Commis III)
Job Summary:
Assist senior chefs in food preparation, presentation, and plating. Learn and develop culinary skills, kitchen procedures, and teamwork to contribute to a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation:
- Prepare ingredients, such as chopping, slicing, and dicing.
- Cook and assemble dishes according to recipes and menu requirements.
- Kitchen Support:
- Assist senior chefs with meal preparation, presentation, and plating.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Learning and Development:
- Learn kitchen procedures, cooking techniques, and recipes.
- Develop knife skills, cooking methods, and presentation styles.
- Teamwork:
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and senior chefs.
- Safety and Hygiene:
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.
