Job Title: Kitchen Commis Chef 2nd (Commis II)
Job Summary:
Assist senior chefs in food preparation, presentation, and plating while refining culinary skills and knowledge. Demonstrate a strong foundation in kitchen procedures, cooking techniques, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation:
- Prepare complex ingredients and components.
- Cook and assemble dishes with minimal supervision.
- Assist with menu planning and recipe development.
- Kitchen Operations:
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.
- Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff.
- Monitor inventory and ordering supplies.
- Culinary Development:
- Refine cooking techniques, knife skills, and presentation styles.
- Learn new recipes and menu items.
- Participate in culinary training and workshops.
- Teamwork and Communication:
- Collaborate with senior chefs and other kitchen staff.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and front-of-house staff.
- Support sous chefs and senior chefs during service.

Pay: 14,000.00 - 16,000.00 per month
