Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Chinese, Thai, and Continental cooking techniques and recipes. The Chef de Partie will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes from Chinese, Thai, and Continental cuisines.
Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Ensure all food safety and hygiene practices are adhered to.- Assist with stock control and inventory management.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and other team members to develop new recipes and menus.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.- Handle kitchen equipment and ensure it is properly maintained.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a reputable kitchen.
In-depth knowledge of Chinese, Thai, and Continental cooking techniques and recipes.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.- Excellent knife skills and ability to handle kitchen equipment.
Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
