Job Description

  • Oversee all facets of sales, from strategic planning to tactical execution in the Indian market.
  • Formulate the current short-term sales strategy to meet annual objectives.
  • Establish a long-term business plan to identify potential targets and opportunities for achieving future goals.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of market and customer requirements, including dynamics involving clients, competitors, and products.
  • Continuously initiate new strategies to expand market presence and increase volume.
  • Drive new business development through fiber displacement and technical support initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful KAM should have:

  • At least 12 years of work experience with a proven career trajectory in the local paper pulp industry, ideally including a minimum of 5 years in sales.
  • Should have prior experience in hardwood/softwood sales.
  • Experience in sea freight logistics would be beneficial.
  • A robust network and understanding of the local paper pulp industry dynamics is preferred.
  • Previous experience in production or research within the pulp and paper field is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in a multinational corporate setting are advantageous.
