As Commercial Operations Leader, you will lead all commercial operations activities related to Bently Nevada/ Cordant Solutions business in India sub-region, both in terms of process efficiency and orders growth.
As a Commercial Operations Leader You will be responsible for:
- Leading & supporting a team of commercial application engineers to handle all aspects of proposal management. This includes contract and risk management (including risk mitigation), specification compliance, scope development, pricing, customer negotiations, customer communications and commercial issue resolution for Project, Flow & Services opportunities.
- Ensure, in collaboration with all the supporting functions viz. Sales, ASAs, Engineering, OTR, Finance, Legal, Sourcing etc., the best techno-commercial solutions are prepared to meet Customers requirements as well as meet or exceed Organization's goals.
- Demonstrate deep expertise in Organization's terms & conditions, commercial policies/ guidelines/ processes and lead commercial negotiation with customer. Also develop risk mitigation strategies that consider identified triggers in negotiated customer T&C's while meeting business objectives.
- Lead deal review process to ensure that all technical & commercial risk points, risk mitigation, and business risk acceptance levels are properly incorporated in the development of the scope, right cost, deal structure and proposal wording and deal closure
- Working with the customers to develop solutions that are compliant to their needs and standards, and that provide commercial and technical advantage.
- Create a trusted techno-commercial resource relationship with our clientsand internal stakeholders.
- Understanding of SW/HW solutions for Machine Monitoring System & Condition Monitoring System in Oil & Gas, Process and other Industries.
- Interface with the Leadership & Global teams to leverage their expertise and create value proposition for customer.
- Ensure sub-region's performance on proposal timelines, proposals value & volume, handling technical & commercial queries, orders, proposal defects, ITO misses in handovers etc.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Engineering Graduate background with a good understanding of Industrial business in terms of Equipment, Plant, Projects, Market etc.
- At least 12-14 years Industrial Experience in Energy Industry, out of which atleast 5 years of most recent experience in Proposals/ Contracts/ Sales/ Project Management role.
- Good understanding of commercial aspects, terms and conditions, negotiation, etc. to allow constructing contracts having optimal deal structure with minimizing risk.
- Experience in working in multi-cultural teams in a matrix environment vis--vis commercially intense markets
- Customer focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs
- Ability to lead, guide and motivate team.
- Excellent interpersonal communications, presentation and facilitation skills with ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Flexibility to travel and work (or be available) as per business needs.
- Knowledge of HW/SW solutions for CMS/MMS in Industrial/ Oil & Gas Industry.
