We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Manager to join our team. The Commercial Manager will play a key role in driving revenue growth and ensuring the success of our commercial initiatives. This individual will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of our client engagements, negotiating contracts, and developing pricing strategies for products and solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, business development, and commercial management, with a deep understanding of the cloud computing industry.
Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability.
Lead the commercial aspects of client engagements, including contract negotiation, pricing, and terms and conditions.
Collaborate with the Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Solutions Team to develop customized solutions and proposals for clients.
Work closely with the Purchase Team and Finance Team to ensure compliance with procurement and financial processes.
Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
Provide guidance and support to the sales team on commercial and pricing matters. Monitor and report on commercial performance metrics, including revenue, margins, and customer acquisition costs.
Stay informed about developments in the cloud computing industry and recommend adjustments to commercial strategies as needed. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Proven track record of success in commercial management, sales, or business development roles, preferably in the technology or cloud computing industry.
Strong negotiation skills and experience negotiating complex contracts and agreements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and internal stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute commercial strategies aligned with business objectives.
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse data and market trends to inform decision-making.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating across departments.
Knowledge of cloud computing technologies and industry trends is a plus.
