Job Purpose:
The objective of this role is to assist the AGM - Legal in managing all legal and compliance-related activities to mitigate legal risk for the organization and ensure that the company complies with all applicable statutory regulations across operating locations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Handling and assisting with the post-acquisition compliances and documentation for the assets, assisting with due diligences and documentation for sale, exits and fresh acquisitions.
- Drafting and reviewing leave and license agreements, lease deed, letters of intent, head of terms, etc. in respect of commercial office spaces across India and ancillary spaces
- Drafting and reviewing mortgage deed and other finance documents, facility agreements and such other documents as may be required concerning the finance transactions being entered in to by the portfolio companies.
- Drafting and reviewing of power purchase agreements, EPC contracts, service agreements, maintenance agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs and other business contracts.
- Advising and assisting the various departments of the portfolio companies in their legal/compliance and documentation requirements. Handling the legal matters of joint ventures with other partners.
- Negotiating and finalizing the documents listed above with counterparty lawyers/advisers.
- We are reviewing litigation and attending court matters regarding the properties owned, developed/being developed by the company.
- Deliver the role in alignment with the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework, including Health and Safety (EHS).

Work Experience:
- The candidate should have sound knowledge of commercial real estate and it would be helpful if he/she has worked with any of the large or niche law firms in their real estate team/part of the legal team at any prominent developer in the country.
- Knowledge in the Infrastructure/ Energy sector would be a plus.
