Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Officer to join our team in the sheet metal industry. The ideal candidate should have a B.Com degree, 3-7 years of relevant experience, strong commercial acumen, and a solid understanding of SAP operations. Knowledge of sheet metal processes and materials is essential to effectively manage contracts, budgets, and vendor relationships, ensuring efficient operations in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

1.Contract Management

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to raw materials, tools, and services.

Ensure all contracts comply with company policies and industry regulations.

Maintain an organized record of contracts, renewals, amendments, and compliance documents.

2.SAP Operations

Execute day-to-day commercial transactions within the SAP system, ensuring data accuracy.

Generate reports for finance, inventory, and procurement through SAP.

Monitor inventory levels for sheet metal, ensuring supply chain continuity and minimizing downtime.

3.Cost Control and Financial Management

Monitor budgets, costs, and forecasts for ongoing projects.

Prepare regular financial reports, analyze variances, and provide insights on cost-saving opportunities.

Collaborate with the finance team to track payments, invoicing, and budget adherence.

4.Vendor and Supplier Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with sheet metal suppliers, negotiating favorable terms.

Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and handle supplier inquiries.

Conduct regular evaluations of vendors to ensure high quality and competitive pricing.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.

3-7 years of experience in a commercial role within the manufacturing or sheet metal industry.

Proficient in SAP, with hands-on experience in inventory and procurement modules.

Good understanding of sheet metal materials, processes, and production demands.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

High level of accuracy, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
