We are looking for a Collection Specialist with 2-7 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the collection process of outstanding debts, ensuring that payments are made promptly and efficiently. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be organized and detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Contact clients to collect outstanding debts
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements with clients
• Maintain accurate records of all collections activity
• Work with team members to resolve any issues that arise during the collection process
• Provide regular reports on collections activity to management
• Manage a portfolio of accounts and ensure payments are made on time
• Follow-up on delinquent accounts and take necessary action
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner when dealing with clients

Skills and Qualifications

• 2-7 years of experience in collections, with a proven track record of success
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience working with collection software and databases
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry is a plus
