Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Collection Executive at United Healthcares. As a Collection Executive, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the collection process to ensure timely payment from our customers. This is a full-time position based in our headquarters in New Delhi. The salary range for this position is competitive and will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven work experience as a Collection Executive or similar role
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in using collection software and MS Office
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in records
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of collection laws and regulations is a plus
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the collection process to ensure timely payment from customers
- Contact customers via phone calls, emails, and letters to follow up on outstanding payments
- Resolve any payment discrepancies and negotiate payment plans when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and update customer information in the database
- Prepare and send out collection notices and invoices to customers
- Assist in the reconciliation of accounts receivable and provide reports on collection activities
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to address customer payment issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in collections
