Job Title: Cobol Developer
Exp: 5 to 7 yrs
Mandatory Skills: COBOL
Good to have (Preferred skills): COBOL developer with Open VMS
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Proven experience as an COBOL programmer
- Advanced knowledge of the OpenVMS platform
- Familiarity with SOAP/XML and REST/JSON API
- Experience with communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, HTTP
- Experience with Oracle RDB databases and query writing
- Root cause analysis
- Source Control / Version experience
Highly deriable:
- Experience in the freight forwarding industry
- Experience interacting directly with customers and vendors
- Experience with ANSI X12 transaction sets (not limited to): 204, 211, 210, 310, 850, 856, 997
- Experience with EDI translation software
