PrepEat is revolutionizing the meal preparation and delivery space, offering customized, healthy meal plans that cater to a wide range of dietary preferences. As a rapidly growing company, PrepEat is seeking a Chief Business Officer (CBO) to drive business growth, lead strategic partnerships, and optimize operations for scalability. This key leadership position offers the opportunity to shape the future direction of PrepEat as a core member of the executive team.

Role Overview:

The Chief Business Officer (CBO) at PrepEat will be responsible for overseeing business development, scaling operations, and building strategic partnerships. As the CBO, you will develop and implement business strategies that align with the company's growth targets and long-term vision. The role requires close collaboration with the CEO and other C-suite executives to ensure that PrepEat's business model is sustainable and scalable. This position also offers an equity stake with the opportunity to invest as a co-founder.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute business strategies that drive sustainable growth, focusing on market expansion, customer acquisition, and profitability.

Business Development: Identify and secure strategic partnerships that will enhance PrepEat's brand presence and service offerings. Lead initiatives to expand into new markets and channels.

Revenue Growth: Create and implement revenue-generating strategies, including new product or service launches, cross-selling, upselling, and market penetration tactics.

Operational Excellence: Work closely with the COO to optimize the company's operations for scalability and efficiency. Focus on reducing costs while maintaining high service quality.

Partnership Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key partners, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring beneficial collaborations that align with PrepEat's goals.

Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for expansion, and position PrepEat as a leader in the meal-prep industry.

Financial Oversight: Partner with the CFO to track key financial metrics, manage budgets, and ensure business decisions are financially sound.

Sales Strategy: Oversee the sales team's activities, aligning sales targets with business objectives, and driving strategies to meet or exceed sales goals.

Customer Acquisition & Retention: Collaborate with marketing and customer teams to optimize the customer acquisition process, ensuring that business development strategies are customer-centric.

Product Development Alignment: Work with the product team to ensure that new offerings are aligned with customer needs and market demands, ensuring business growth through innovative solutions.

Leadership & Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and lead business development and sales teams. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and results-oriented growth.

Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that all business operations comply with legal regulations and industry standards, identifying and mitigating any potential risks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


Proven experience in a senior leadership role, particularly in business development, strategy, or operations within the food-tech, health-tech, or subscription-based sectors.

Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to grow and scale a business in a high-growth startup environment.

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to build, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams.

A strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Experience developing strategic partnerships and working closely with external stakeholders.

Solid understanding of financial metrics and how they impact business growth and profitability.

Outstanding communication and negotiation skills with a focus on building long-lasting partnerships.

Ability to work collaboratively with other C-suite members and contribute to company-wide strategic initiatives.

Preferred:


Experience in food-tech, meal-prep services, or subscription-based models.

Familiarity with business growth in the e-commerce, meal delivery, or wellness industries.

Experience in leading a high-growth startup or scaling operations within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
