Position Summary:
The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up and running CNC machines for drilling, grinding, milling, and other operations. This role requires reading mechanical drawings and blueprints, converting instructions into computer commands, and ensuring that the machines produce parts that meet exacting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Setup and Operation: Set up and operate CNC machines for various machining operations such as drilling, grinding, and milling.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and comprehend mechanical drawings, blueprints, and other documents to understand the requirements and desired outcomes.
- Programming: Convert instructions into computer commands to guide the CNC machines.
- Component Assembly: Assemble and insert components and raw materials into the machinery.
- Test Runs: Conduct test runs to ensure the machines produce outputs that meet required standards.
- Production Cycles: Set up machines to run through full cycles to produce high quantities of parts.
- Monitoring and Adjustment: Monitor the machines during operation and make necessary adjustments to achieve the best possible outcome.
- Quality Control: Examine, measure, and compare final items to specifications to ensure correct execution of processes.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal functionality.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a CNC Operator.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Programming Knowledge: Ability to convert instructions into computer commands for CNC machines.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
